What is glutathione?

glutathione (GSH) is a tripeptide compound formed by glutamic acid (Glu), cysteine (Cys) and glycine (Gly) through peptide bonds. It is the most abundant small molecule mercaptol compound in the organism and has important physiological functions. It can be used for anti-radiation, tumor, cancer, oxygen poisoning, aging and coordination of endocrine treatment, and is a large-scale clinical use of liver protection drugs, but also widely used in food, sports nutrition, health products and cosmetics, with broad market prospects.

Status of glutathione
